The Raahen Ensi- ja Turvakoti ry is a non-profit organization and a member association of the national child protection organization, the Ensi- ja turvakotien liitto. The purpose of the association’s activities is to promote family-centered child protection work, to work for the improvement of children’s and young people’s growth conditions, to influence the prevention and remedy of family and close relationship violence, and to enhance and develop cooperation with various authorities and volunteers.The forms of activity carried out by the association include preventive work, crisis work, and aftercare. Raahen Ensi- ja Turvakoti ry provides shelter services, first home services, meeting place activities, and open service activities to welfare areas. As a civil society organization, the association offers opportunities for volunteering and peer support.
